🍆 Honda Accord Type S Review
Honda Accord Type R, 2000, 126k miles, £6000: Highish mileage but a well-kept car. It is not modified or upgraded in any way, which is exactly how you want one, and is in the favoured red. Two previous owners, recent service and six months’ MOT. A very clean-looking Type R at a very favourable price. Car news.
They flat out didnt sell 2.0s in any real volume so they killed it. The new accord rides better, interior nvh was reduced, better interior tech, handles better, the 1.5/ 2.0 hybrid are better calibrated and is safer in a crash. The con is the accord has always been the enthusiast dad car.

The 252-hp, 273-lb-ft output of the last-gen Accord 2.0T will not be matched in the 11th-gen car. No matter, though, as both engines available for 2023 will make it up to you in fuel efficiency

Prices for the 2019 Honda Accord start at $23,720, which is about $12,770 more than the average list price of a 2011 model. The Accord was fully redesigned for 2018 and features engaging handling, great gas mileage, and lots of tech features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Nudge the limiter but keep it in second as we steer left, over a crest. The rear becomes a little unsettled as we snatch right for the next corner. Pin the throttle, hit third, then fourth, and brake hard for the next set of corners. Blip the throttle into third, keep the revs above 6k and hammer out of the next set of corners.
In typical Honda style, the Accord’s engine purrs into life quickly and settles to a mill-smooth idle. And at everyday speeds, it’s docile and easy to drive. But unlike many Type Rs, it isn
Pros. The engine is the absolute star of this package. Delivering its power instantly and predictably, the 3.5-liter V6 snarls as revs build. There’s really too much power here, so the front
Servicing is required every 12 months or 10,000km – whichever comes first. Capped price servicing has increased by $74 per service across the Honda range for 2023, but the Accord is still cheaper to service than a Toyota Camry which costs $255 per service for both petrol and hybrid models. The first five services cost $199, for a total of
